Event Coordination
Operations Staff / Event Lead - Velocity Sim Racing Lounge
25+ events led independently out of 60+ total | guest count up to 100
Day-of point of contact for corporate events, briefing guests on driving, commentating on the mic throughout the event, and coordinating the podium celebration, in addition to running floor operations and staff delegation.
Regularly onboarded and trained 13+ new hires on event operations and guest service standards.
Multitasked bookings, live alerts, and guest check-ins simultaneously, without missing a beat.
One of my busiest shifts: three major parties running at once, a live booking queue, and help-request alerts flashing across the floor, on top of a full room of walk-ins. I deployed two coworkers to run their groups solo while I kept everything on schedule myself, checking in with guests over headset the whole time. Every group left smooth, every guest felt taken care of.

RUNNING THE FLOOR AS EVENT LEAD
Directing rig troubleshooting in real time (motion failures, audio drops) so guests never lost momentum mid-race.
Walking every group through their session personally, checking in and adjusting on the spot.
Running the floor during a packed house (guest count 60+) and keeping every group moving on schedule.

Designer & Planner - Anthony & Jasmine's Wedding, Tequila Ranch Events
Full event system designed and hand-built | 100 guests | Day-of coordination by Elissa Perales, Tequila Ranch Events
Sourced and vetted every vendor (florist, caterer, bar service, photography, entertainment, officiant, makeup artists) with full contract review and printed day-of instructions for each.
Designed the floor plan and tablescape vision for ceremony and reception, seating 100 guests across 16 tables, then directed setup execution.
Designed the full stationery suite and hand-built event signage (invitations, programs, menus, chalkboard lettering, and floral displays) keeping the visual identity fully custom and in-house.
The layout was later adopted by the venue as one of their most requested table setups and repeatedly featured in their marketing over several months.
AS THE DESIGNER, I:
Created Floor Plans & Layout
My layout design
Later featured as the venue's lead marketing image for their first Open House of the year.
Built Stationery Suite
Designed and assembled welcome sign & florals
Designed Bar Menus in Canva and printed for display
Hand-built full seating chart pallet from full concept
Shaped Venue Marketing
Designed the floor plan for both ceremony and reception, arranging seating and flow for 100 guests. (Click to enlarge floor plans)
